Brooke Bayley Equestrian is looking for another working student starting January 1st!

Brooke is a young professional based out of the beautiful 350 acre Bolinvar farm in Middleburg, VA year round. She has competed in both FEI Eventing and Dressage and is a USDF Bronze Medalist. Although she primarily focuses on Eventing, she regularly fox hunts and attends both dressage and jumper shows. In addition to going to shows, you will be asked to go with Brooke and her horses to lessons and clinics with top instructors in the area creating another valuable learning experience.

Her barn consists of about 15 horses in both training and sales horses ranging from young horses starting their riding careers to schooled upper level horses and just about everything in between. She also believes in a very strong ground work foundation and regularly goes back to working with the horses on the ground. Brooke likes to take a hands on approach to her students and will be there with you every step of the way to help you grow as a rider and horseman. Brooke can also help you learn the tools that you need to run a successful barn. In this smaller program, you can really learn and work on what YOU want to improve. This is a close knit barn that is looking for a new family member!

The ideal candidate is over 18, has their own reliable transportation and has their own horse. The working student is expected to work energetically and enthusiastically for 6 days a week in exchange for lessons, housing, board and training on his or her own horse Having your own horse is crucial to ensure you can get the absolute most out of your time at BBE. Don't have your own horse? We can help you find one to lease for the duration of your stay or help you find your perfect match to buy. The candidate should be comfortable handling all types of horses from the ground and have the ability to at least ride walk/trot/canter in an enclosed arena. Although this is an unpaid position, there is opportunity for advancement within BBE's program for the right individual.

If you think this might be the right position for you, contact Brooke now!
